9th Annual Tokyo Messenger Event

The Hive took a trip to Tokyo to sort out spreading the word in Japan and to scope out the Japanese fixed gear scene.  The first order of business was a parley with the nice guys over at Tokyo San-Esu to finalize the details of sales/service in Japan.  The result: starting in June, The Hive will start shipping Chubs to Japan for exclusive distribution by Tokyo San-Esu.  Good news.

After the meeting, we scouted out a spot to watch the 9th annual Tokyo Messenger Event.  Despite the chill and rain, the event carried on into night.  Tokyo San-Esu set up their booth displaying the Chubs alongside their other products.  Thanks guys.  The event was, um, colorful to say the least.  Verdict: The Hive likes Japan a lot.  Great food + cool and courteous people + unique bike culture = fun.
